Hi Everyone,

One of my only real hobbies is that I love to garden. Moving to NorthLakes will be the first time I will be living in a tropical environment so I am really anxious to learn about the native plants and the gardening culture. Does anyone know if there is a gardening club in North Lakes? Thanks in advance! Lisa

I'm not too sure about gardening clubs in North Lakes but there is one in lawnton which is just west? of northlakes and they meet regulary. (I will have to try and find their website and post back)

If you are looking to grow native plants there are two local nurseries which will be able to help you out, they are;

Thanks Pyrotix....I appreciate the info and it was nice chatting with you the other night/morning!

On another note, my husband just got to NorthLakes yesterday and loves the house we had built...we hadn't seen any of the construction ( other than email pictures ) since we were in the US...he says that it is very green right now and that is rained again! I can't wait to get there!
