It's amazing how arrogant & selfish people can be when it comes to parking. It's not only at Westfield but also at Elkhorn Court! Do some people remember the meaning of share?

I live in the quiet & small cul-de-sac & I as well as others are fed up with the person who has decided to park his 2 cars (1 unregistered mind you...) in the only parking spots at the end of the street for the past few months. This person thinks that he owns the parking spots because he is a 'visitor' (of a few months now!) Well sorry to break it to you, but you don't own the spots & it doesn't seem like you are a visitor anymore! Have some consideration for others & kindly move the vehicles!

Not that you would notice but your neighbours have visitors as there are quite a few families in this street? Our visitors are forced to park in front of others houses because of your selfish attitude. Children are no longer playing on the street because our visitors are parking where they play. Like others in the street I'm sure could park in your driveway or front lawn.

Just so you know, I have reported the unregistered vehicle to the police who will be in contact with you & my issue has been raised with the council who will be in contact with you & your partner. Perhaps if you answered the door or spoke to your neighbours you would realise that there is an issue.

Does anyone else have an issue with a person like this?

noz, have you considered calling a tow truck company and letting them know there is an abandoned car at such as address? If it's unregistered they will sell it for scrap and if its registration sticker and or rego is present they will give the owner a chance to pay to have it back.

Angelfire,
I dont know where you get your information from but you are incorrect.
Firstly, if the car is unregistered then a tow truck driver cannot just tow it and sell it for scrap. The police can however resolve this issue because unregistered vehicles cannot be on a road.
Secondly, if the 'rego sticker and rego is present' then there is nothing that anyone including a tow truck driver or police can do so long as it is legally parked and not causing a danger to other road users.
