hey everyone i am a kiwi who just moved to north lakes after working as a nanny full time for 18months i want to keep going with this in australia but i dont really understand how this bluecard thing works do i need to get one before i get job or do i get one after i found a job? any help will be great (ha ha a job offer will be even better)

Hi Kiwi Nanny, it is preferable that you already have a bluecard before you start applying for jobs. You cannot work with children unless you have a bluecard and I doubt anyone would hire you unless you already have the card before you commence work. Hope this helps a bit and good luck with the job hunting
