I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has young children and doesnt work, or is it only me. I am really hoping to find some families and friends who are around in the day and evenings, I have a 3 year old son and a 6 year old at school, but we are getting quite lonely on our own during the day, please help us enjoy our days again....

You sound like you are in the same situation as me! I also have a 3 year old, Ethan. He is at ABC N Lakes Mon-Thurs for the interaction/stimulation....and some sanity for me!. I am a "homemaker" (was a career girl at one stage) so am at home during the day. We have just moved to North Lakes from S. Africa and its a bit tough without our circle of friends. It would be great to catch up some time.

I will be able to make Monday too, quite flexible on times so whatever suits, my little one is 3 and he loves the tavern so its a relaxing morning booked in for me, see you all tomorrow.

Thats fine with me- 9.30 is not a problem then I can bring my three year old along and drop him at kindy late (just remembered he is at kindy on a Monday!). Who ever gets their first try and get the table nearest the kids room! Look forward to meeting everyone on Monday

Mango hill tavern sounds good. Cindy and I are going to go there at 9.30 and i think angelcake is comen at 10.15. Ill get the same table we had last time close to the play area. I have to go at 10.30 but look forward to seeing u all again- welcome sarah

My kids are older too! Would still like to make more friends though - can never have too many !! I work from home so can always make time for socialising.
