Hey, I'm sorry to hear that Little Miss A didn't get into prep, Lazygamer . Glad to hear that Miss S enjoyed her first day though . So did my Miss A. She met a few other girls that live around Bridgehaven and Fairway Chase. One lives in your street, actually.

About the combined classes, I’m keeping an open mind at this stage as to how that will pan out . I have heard other people say that they can work well, but it would have to be managed by the teachers well. My Miss A is in a combined grade 5, 6 and 7 class.

I, too, am a bit annoyed about the uniform debacle. Especially since they took the inaugural school photos today .

Did they never realise that the change in hemisphere also means that Summer and Winter are now different and are major holiday is in December and not Summer... Which means that placing the cut off in the middle of the year is illogical and stupid.

@Kirk, So your daughter has my friends son in her class as well... he is in Grade 7.

Next time you take your daughter to her friends house you should drop past... it's nice to see that everyone is virtually in walking distance of each other now... it should make growing up for the kids really good
