Hi guys, we are currently staying in sleepy Margaret River and are contemplating a move to North Lakes. We have 3 kids, 13, 3 and 1 and are coming over for a recce in April.
Thankfully my mother will be babysitting and it will just be the two of us.
Can anyone recommend anywhere nice (but cheap) to stay for a couple of nights and also if anyone fancies meeting up we will be more than up for it :)

Hi Lynne, We have just moved here from Baldivis in WA near Rockingham. I don't think there is many places in north lakes to stay but Redcliff is not far that may be your best option. What school are you looking at putting your 13 yr old in?

Do you have kids of similar age

We are from QLD and were in Baldivis for 4 years. My husband got a job back in qld and it was a good time to move back. I like North Lakes feels the same as Baldivis but just closer to a lot more stuff. I have 2 boys one 16 and one 12. They are going to The Lakes College. They are enjoing it so far.:P

Glad the boys are enjoying it, that one of my main worries moving his school as that will be the 2nd time in 2 years.
How about you and hubby are you managing to settle in ok.
