The Lakes College

The Lakes College is nestled in North Lakes and is established as a provider of high quality education for students in North Lakes and surrounding areas. Our students come from the northern suburbs of Brisbane and from within the Moreton Bay Regional Shire.

Our Master Plan outlines the staged development of what will ultimately be a College that incorporates Primary, Middle and Senior School facilities. The College opened in 2005, catering for students in Prep to Year 3 with the full complement of classes through to Year 12 being progressively added. By 2013 we will be a Prep - Year 12 College.

North Lakes State College is a proud and innovative College that offers high quality education for both boys and girls from the Preparatory school year through to Year 12.

The College has three phases of learning - Early Phase (Prep to Year 3), Middle Phase (Year 4 to Year 9) and Senior Phase (Year 10 to Year 12). Each phase offers a diverse and rich curriculum supported by quality teaching that gives our students a seamless progression through their 13 years of schooling.

Bounty Boulevard State School commenced on the 27th January 2009 for 128 students from the Preparatory Year to Year Seven. These inaugural students commenced their education in a world class new school designed to provide the learning opportunities for 21st Century learners.

Mango Hill State School

Mango Hill State School will open in 2012 to service the growing Mango Hill community.  It is anticipated approximately 150 children from Prep to Year 7 will enrol in the first year.  

Mango Hill State School will offer quality programs with a focus on using innovative teaching and technology.  The school will work with parents and the community to focus on a quality education for all students in a safe, supportive learning environment.

Pine Rivers Family Day Care

Pine Rivers Family Day Care is a community based high quality childcare service that offers care and education for children 8 weeks to high school.

This care is in the homes of approved care providers that are supported and monitored by a coordination unit that is employed by the Moreton Bay Regional Council. Moreton Bay Regional Council sponsors Pine Rivers Family Day Care on a non profit basis.
